Inspiration

I am inspired by the Andes, that horizon that divides the green and blue of the Peruvian highland sky … the mountains full of ichu (Andean bunch grass) where the alpacas walk and where silence allows us to approach that sweet

reflection that city life prevents us. I like the colors that, like painting on a canvas, are reflected in the landscape, the mystical territory full of traditions, customs and legacies …

The colors in their clothing, the know-how that knowledge of techniques as old as our own existence and as a beautiful legacy continues to be transmitted from generation to generation.

I am inspired by the craftsmanship that lives intertwined with identity as a form of individual and collective creativity and as a physical manifestation of beliefs and values that embody the past heritage, my ancestors … and the future aspirations of the artisan women of my country.

Made from organic or bio-based fibers using organic processes throughout every step of textile production.
This process avoids the use of harmful bleaches, dyes and finished, while encouraging accountability in complex supply chain system.

Philosophy

My project is not limited by borders or by barriers imposed by gender, skin color, religion or beliefs: I believe in equality, in a global vision and the union of countries under universal ideas such as people’s willingness to make the world a better place and the need to listen from the heart in order to find the right path in life.

I believe in intuitive and spontaneous intelligence, in beauty in all its forms: In its infinite manifestation through people and places abundant in culture and history.

I am amazed and fascinated by traditional designs and techniques.
